Elijah Channels His Older Cousin "Prince" On His Single "Mill Ticket"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In July, hip-hop artist Elijah Connor released his second single, "Mill Ticket." The song is intended to be a dance anthem to close out the summer.
Connor is not new to the music scene. He released his first single, "Playa," back in 2015. Known for his ballad style of singing, he is hoping this new track will showcase his versatility as an artist.
"Mill Ticket is about catching the bag, over everything else and staying focused on the goal. I wanted to switch it up a little bit," Connor said. "I know a lot of my fans may have expected a ballad or a record that I'm really singing on. But, this one has something you can move to. I'm sharing how the grind has its benefits over a hot beat."

Connor added that his R&B talents have not been lost and that he will continue to serenade his fans. Born and raised in Detroit, Connor started singing at the tender age of three years old. The son of a reverend and doctor, while growing up in church he was often selected for choir solos, which is ultimately how he grew into a performer.

Connor's voice features soothing, melodic tones, while his musicality is rhythmic and energizing. He has shared the stage with artists including Robin Thick, Jason Derulo, Barry Manilow, Anita Baker, Diddy, Teddy Riley, A$AP Rocky, Lil Kim, Mario Winans, Jordin Sparks, and Big Sean. He has also been featured in the New York Times, VIBE, Hip Hop Weekly, and LA Daily, as well as in commercials for Burger King and H&R Block. Connor also gained fame for his role as nephew to the character Emma in the remake of the movie "Sparkle."
The new single, "Mill Ticket," can be purchased on iTunes at https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/mill-ticket-single/id1260056275.
