LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Freddy Rawsh Official Website) - Freddy Rawsh has delivered the new smash "Smoke Alarm" featuring Erick Ramon, the first single from his upcoming album. The track, also produced by Erick Ramon, has already been featured in two Universal movie soundtracks, including American Pie 7.

The new single, which is out now to buy on iTunes, through Track Static Music Group, comes on the back of the the popular mixtape "Freddy Rawsh Vs. Drake: Back To School Special", available from datpiff.com.

Situated in the midst of the Bosnian conflict of the early 1990's, Rawsh was no stranger to the struggle and conflicting nature of mankind. Growing up in a refugee camp of a war-torn nation; Freddy was exposed to varying cultures and their subsequent styles of music. At the age of 8, Rawsh experienced his first encounter with Hip-Hop music while watching the late 2Pac's 'California Love' video on a communal television within the confines of the camp. From that moment onward, his perception of music would change forever; and with this musical revelation, came a chance at a new life in Los Angeles, California where his family was able to settle down.

In 2004, Rawsh teamed up with long-time friend and producer Don Ramone of Track Static Productions. Since the collaboration, the two have worked to further advance the grounds for hip-hop by creating exceptional music. His incredible imagination, lyrical dexterity and passion for the salvation of Hip-Hop has influenced Rawsh in creating triumphant and prodigious songs. 'Hip-Hop is a storm that is taking over music and I will catalyze this storm.'

After years of patiently waiting, Freddy Rawsh is ready to advance the progression of Hip-Hop through the flexing of his musical arsenal.

Freddy Rawsh's "Smoke Alarm", available now on iTunes.
