Produced by Jim Jonsin and written by Rico Love, 'Motivation' is the lead single from ROWLAND's upcoming third solo album, to be released by Universal Motown in Fall 2011.
'Motivation' was made available for purchase at iTunes on April 12 and immediately became the No. 1 most-added single at urban radio. It is currently the No. 1 Greatest Gainer on the BDS Urban Chart for its fourth consecutive week as well as the No. 1 Greatest Gainer on the Mediabase Urban Published Chart for its second consecutive week, in addition to holding the No. 4 spot on iTunes' Top R&B/Soul Songs chart. 'Motivation' is also climbing Billboard's Hot 100 chart, its Digital Songs chart, and its Ringtones chart.
