LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ WCE Records) - 2009 has been a great year for singer/songwriter/guitarist Malina Moye. From supporting soul R&B crooner Robin Thicke and Boyz ll Men, to performing in front of more than 50,000 people at the Petco park in San Diego, Moye has been traversing the country garnering fans city by city in support of her independent debut LP "Diamond & Guitars.' As an independent we're constantly evolving and taking the grass roots approach utilizing social networks, with performances and of course word of mouth.

With its soft release this past August, Moye found herself among the top downloaded records on Amazon in the contemporary/R&B category earning a spot at number 35. She also received a nod from the Peoples Choice Soultracks as best new artist for 2009. Moye was also featured in Victoria Secret's "Life Is Pink" campaign this past fall.

"I'm elated,' says Moye, 'because this record is taking on its own life. We were even up for Grammy consideration in several categories.'

Proving the record is indeed striking a chord with its listeners, WCE Records has licensed several of the tracks from D&G to retailers, television outlets, and now has caught the attention of powerhouse publisher Jay Warner Publishing who is interested in administering the record worldwide.

The next two singles from the LP will be 'Nobody,' which was penned by and features Grammy nominees Helen Bruner and Terry Jones, and the radio friendly single 'Yaah!' that blends a unique funky throw-back feel with a catchy hook.

"I look forward to touring and continuing to build the Malina Moye brand,' states the songstress.

Known as the consummate performer, Malina was invited to perform at the tribute concert to the late Michael Jackson at Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame soon after the pop legend's death, and also received her own day in her hometown of Lorain Ohio with a proclamation from the mayor.

'2010 is going to rock,' Moye says. ' I'm looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you on tour.' Moye's past Billboard chart success includes her single 'Girlfriend' that peaked at number 48 on the Hot 100 charts and 'Alone' that peaked at number 9 on Hip-Hop/R&B and remained on the charts for more than 15 weeks.
