Rapper Rich Rhoades Releases New EP 'Elevated'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The up-and-coming rapper from Detroit, MI, known as Rich Rhoades has released his latest EP, titled, "Elevated." The record is comprised of six new and original tracks from the artist for an approximate playing time of 25 minutes. His most significant and high quality album to date, "Elevated" by Rich Rhoades is a display of solid performances and picture perfect production, marked by intelligent and amusing songwriting, thumping back beats, and uniquely creative compositions.

Acclaimed out of the gate by critics and fans alike as one of 2013's most excellent hip hop EP records, it is slated by music journalists to become the flagship in Rich Rhoades' growing catalog of releases. It represents a fantastic introduction to new fans, and a reminder to Rhoades fans of old just what got everyone interested in his slamming, straight-up style of rap music to begin with.

The artist, who has since relocated to Los Angeles, CA, originally learned music from his father, a respected jazz musician who taught him piano while his older brother instructed him in rap. By 13 Rhoades was crafting original beats of his own. Before the age of 20 he had grown into a promising producer and rapper of the Detroit underground in his own right, and it was this early success that led him to move to the West Coast with his father in tow.

Since that time he has produced records for The Relativez, as well as for actors Orlando Brown (Major Payne, Family Matters), Marcus Paulk (Moesha, Red Tails, Roll Bounce), Spliff Starr, Rich Boi, Dorrough Muzik, and Glasses Malone, as well as Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony.

He names as main artistic musical influences the likes of legends such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Dr.Dre, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G, Lauryn Hill, R. Kelly, and Michael Jackson.

"Elevated" by Rich Rhoades is available online worldwide beginning spring 2013.

The EP "Elevated" is distributed globally by MondoTunes (www.MondoTunes.com) and is available at iTunes or www.top40-charts.com for convenient purchase and download.
