Top Stop Music Inks Exclusive Distribution Deal With Atlantic Records In The USA; Leading Latin Indie Label Roster Includes Triple-platinum Selling Prince Royce, Luis Enrique, Gaby Borges, PW (Pee Wee) And More
NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) Top Stop Music today announced an exclusive distribution deal with Atlantic Records for the U.S. Founded by producer Sergio George and Gregory Elias, Top Stop has grown into one of the leading Latin independent labels in the U.S. in just three short years. The label boasts an array of talented and successful artists including breakthrough triple platinum selling Prince Royce, who earlier this year signed a global deal with Atlantic through Top Stop, as well as Luis Enrique, PW (Pee Wee) and Gaby Borges amongst many others.

The deal will see all of Top Stop's artists and catalog now being distributed through Atlantic Records. On the deal, Top Stop Music president Sergio George said, "It is an exciting evolution and the perfect fit for Top Stop Music to be partnering with Atlantic Records. This deal is a great development for our independent label and a very positive indicator of where the Latin music industry is headed."

"We are thrilled to be expanding our relationship with Top Stop through this exclusive new deal," said Atlantic Chairman/CEO Craig Kallman. "Since joining together earlier this year to bring Prince Royce into the Atlantic family, we have watched as Top Stop has continued to rapidly evolve into an independent Latin powerhouse. With an exceptional roster of explosive talent, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a focus on the 360 business model, Top Stop's vision is very much in sync with our own. I look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Sergio, Gregory, and the entire Top Stop team."

This newly formed deal comes less than a year after Atlantic signed a long-term worldwide recording deal with Latin superstar Prince Royce for all future English and Spanish albums. Prince Royce's self-titled debut album has been certified Triple Platinum in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, making the 22-year-old singer/songwriter/musician the only Latin music artist who has achieved triple platinum status this year. Prince Royce has already released his English-language preview track, "Addicted," while a full-length Spanish language follow-up is due in April 2012 and the English language LP is scheduled for a later date. In addition to his recent stint on Enrique Iglesias' sold-out "Euphoria U.S. Tour," alongside Pitbull, the Bronx-native recently won an astonishing four awards at the 2011 Latin Billboard Awards, three awards at the 2011 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, and four 2011 Premios Juventud Awards. What's more, Royce took the stage at the 2011 Latin GRAMMYs, performing alongside legendary Mexican rock group ManĂ¡.
