A modern hip-hop renaissance man, the Toronto-born and Denver-based rapper, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer conjures up a sound that might be best described as The Grateful Dead and Bootsy Collins backing Young Thug (in space). He worked on building that lane all by himself. Growing up in Connecticut, he went from playing piano and cello to eventually picking up guitar, bass, and even drums. He cut his teeth playing in bands throughout middle school and high school. An avowed "Dead Head," he got really into Funkadelic and Bootsy. At eleven, his eyes opened to the likes of Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, and Kid Cudi. As the creative palette expanded as he started to create beats. In 2018, the Drip EP and tracks such as "Magnet," "Lazy Sunday," and "RAV 4" stirred up a growing buzz, and his videos began putting up numbers on YouTube. With a fan base building, he kicked off the new year with the single "Envelope."
