NEW YORK, NY (Tycoon Records Inc.) - New York's hot new R&B group "Fortune" has officially arrived on the music scene in a big and exciting way. Their extraordinary album "And The Winners Are," coupled with a sparkling new video, are sure to take R&B lovers to new musical heights. Following predecessors such as Jodeci, Guy, and Boyz II Men, there is currently no four-member quartet on the music scene today with such strong vocals and talent.

Hailing from New York City, this remarkable group perfected their artistry in the Boys Choir of Harlem, and in concerts, performances and appearances throughout America and Japan. Now, Fortune is ready to conquer the music scene with the recent completion of "And The Winners Are," a modern day classic that blends the sounds of American Soul with the inspiration of Rhythm & Blues. With the video single "I Love U," shot by Shoulder Hill Entertainment director Steven Addair, Fortune is set to create a major buzz on video programs across the country and abroad. Shot entirely in Harlem, the video entertains with class, and reflects the group in a very stylized way.

Formed by Michael 'Vegas' Harrison, the Harlem-born music producer who has written and produced records for the likes of R&B divas Zhane', the Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon, and Quincy Jones' pop protege Michael Fredo, Fortune was groomed with the type of artist development unseen since the days of Berry Gordy's Motown. "Their management was very instrumental ... making sure practices and shows were just as important as our studio sessions. It's a rare thing to hear R&B nowadays with the right mixture of vocal ability & class combined." Harrison says, "I've been in the game long enough to know that talent only matters when the heart and desire is there to take it the rest of the way".

Sule, Austin, Shai & Bouie have all been in the music business for years either individually or at times together, trying to get their big break. Harrison says the patience and persistence is now paying off for the 4-man powerhouse group, "It takes years to put anything together that's going to last. Nothing or no one makes it overnight. Their upbringing in the Boys Choir of Harlem helped them understand the importance of unity and more importantly, harmony. Fortune's unique blend is key to their success on the music scene. It's like listening to a mixture of Take 6, Blackstreet and New Edition combined ... rap, hip-hop, gospel, all mixed together. It's what gives them the edge on the competition" says Harrison. But also growing in the streets and knowing what really appeals to the women and youth of this generation has given the guys the aforementioned edge which helped them win the Underground Award in 2003 for Best Group or Duo. The first two singles from the album, "I Love U" and "They Don't Know" are currently rotating heavily in clubs and on the radio. You can also catch them on the upcoming soundtrack & score for the Byron Harmon/Miramax produced film "All The Women I've Loved".
