NEW YORK, NY (Top40-Charts/ KOCH Records) - Big Oomp Records/KOCH Records recording artist Unk has just dropped "2 Step," the follow-up to the chart-topping "Walk It Out" and the second single from his debut album, "Beat'n Down Yo Block." "2 Step" is already exploding at radio with over 2,400+ spins. The video for "2 Step" will premiere on Yahoo! Music on Friday, February 23rd.

The "2 Step" video was recently shot in Atlanta and co-directed by Raging Nation Films Directors Dale Resteghini & Will Horton, who between them have directed videos for Jim Jones, MIMS, Juelz Santana, Hawthorne Heights, C-Murder and many more.

Unk's smash single, "Walk It Out," is now an RIAA certified Gold single (well on its way to platinum) and also Platinum Master Ringtone (with over 1 million sold and counting). The Remix of "Walk It Out" featuring OutKast and Dipset Capo, Jim Jones is now the No 1 record on New York's Hot 97, San Francisco's KMEL, Atlanta's WBTS, Tulsa's KJMM and El Paso's KPRR.

"Walk It Out" spent a record 22 weeks on the Billboard HOT 100 chart and is the longest R&B/Hip-Hop title since Petey Pablo's "Freek-A-Leek" dating back to May 2004.

"Beat'n Down Yo Block" is a gathering of some of southern hip hop's greatest, among them D.G. Yola, Baby D and Dem Franchize Boyz. It also features production by Jazze Pha, eight-year-old prodigy Big Korey as well as DJ Montay of Top Quality Productions.

Unk, the 24-year-old former DJ, caught the attention of Big Oomp (the man known for his ability to break underground rap acts, among them Baby D), about six years ago. Oomp says he was as impressed by Unk's drive as he was by his talent. "It was his work ethic," lends Oomp. "He was determined and he wanted to rap and he was determined he was gonna make it. He started out as a DJ and he just started writing raps to go on the mixtapes. He was so dedicated in making sure he made it on the mixtapes I was like 'this joker here gon' be alright'."
