Zamaera Captures Change In Raw New Single "Z vs. Z"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After securing over a million views for her appearance on MTV Asia's Yo! MTV Raps Cypher, Zamaera breaks down walls to expose raw vulnerability in her new single, "Z vs. Z." Penning a letter to her past self, authored by experience and self-exploration, this track sets the conceptual tone of internal growth and progression for her forthcoming debut EP. The EP will be released internationally later this year. "Z vs. Z" is now available to stream and download on music platforms worldwide.

Zamaera pours herself into "Z vs. Z," opening her heart to reveal the universal theme of change and how we deal with its incessant appearance in life. With a raw flow that could rival hip-hop's current chart-toppers, Zamaera sets herself apart with the ability to tell an intricate story in a matter of minutes. "I'm not afraid to share my weaknesses with others," said Zamaera. "People want to know that they aren't the only ones facing change because change is scary and uncomfortable, but change is necessary. It's the only constant, and it keeps us balanced."

The rising emcee worked on the entirety of her EP with producer and pianist Floyd "Timeless" Thomas, a 14-time Billboard charting producer and musician, alongside The Matt Jones Orchestra. The process of recording the EP was both vigorous and fulfilling, and it left Zamaera with an abundance of emotion. "It was, and still is, a never-ending roller coaster of feelings," she explains. "And I wouldn't change a thing."

Zamaera started her professional music career as a singer-songwriter. As she grew personally and musically, her life experiences shaped and molded her love for rhythm and poetry, supporting her already developed talent of songwriting. In 2017, she dropped two singles, "Helly Kelly" and "Wanita," earning her an artist development deal with international recording label Lakefront Records along the way. With two successful singles under her belt, Nike approached her with an endorsement opportunity. Capitalizing on the momentum of the endorsement, Zamaera dropped her first mixtape titled, Don'tZzOnMe.

In October, Zamaera will announce a Southeast Asian tour in support of her debut EP. "Z vs. Z" is available to stream and download on music platforms worldwide. Keep up to date with Zamaera at Facebook.com/Official Zamaera.
