New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Juno-Nominated Canadian country star Chad Brownlee releases the music video for his major label debut single "Dear Drunk Me". The satirical "Dear Drunk Me" music video shows off Brownlee's acting skills across a skew of scenes where he looks back on a regretful tipsy night. Directed by MTV Video Music Award, JUNO Award, and Much Music Video Award winning Ben Knechtel (Carly Rae Jepson, James Barker Band, The Reklaws), the "Dear Drunk Me" music video exclusively premiered on ET Canada with a behind-the-scenes look of the filming. "Dear Drunk Me" was released this summer as Chad's debut. Written by superstar writer Gordie Sampson, who's penned global hits for artists such as Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and Rascal Flatts, and many more.

With six CCMA nominations and nine top-10 singles at Canadian country radio under his belt, Chad Brownlee is no stranger to the country music world. With his knack for songwriting a distinctively powerful and emotional voice, the former Vancouver Canucks draft pick turned Country star entered the limelight with the release of his self-titled debut album in 2010 which features fan-favourites "Hood Of My Car" and "Carried Away". 2011 saw Brownlee winning the CCMA Rising Star Award, lifting him into the upper echelons of the Canadian country music scene. This lead him to his albums Love Me Or Leave Me in 2012, where he then celebrated the successful release of his sophomore album by hitting the road with Grammy-nominee Dierks Bentley across Canada. In 2013, he co-headlined the "Your Town Throwdown" tour with fellow Canadian country artists Deric Ruttan and Jason Blaine. Brownlee continued to build on this momentum by building one of Canadian country music's most passionate fanbases through his next two albums - The Fighters (2014) and Hearts on Fire (2016). His catalogue of albums contains a plethora of fan-favourites and radio hits like "Love Me Or Leave Me", "Listen", "Somethin' We Shouldn't Do" and recently gold-certified "I Hate You For It" - proving the steady stream of love for Brownlee's sound and words.

Over the last few years Brownlee has received critical acclaim and numerous accolades including a highly coveted JUNO nomination for Country Album of the Year, and consecutive Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA®) Award™ for Male Artist of the Year nominations (2012, 2013, 2017, 2018), Fan's Choice Award (2017, 2018), Album of the Year (2016) amongst many more. Chad recently join fellow superstar and global country music legend Terri Clark on the "CCMA Legends Show: A Tribute to Yesterday & Today" this September. The show was a memorable experience to witness award-winning country musicians paying tribute to some of Canada's most admirable country artists showcasing performances by Hall of Fame inductees who have made a mark on the Canadian country music scene alongside rising and current hit-makers.

Chad Brownlee has spent the past few years writing, drawing, hiking, and getting rejuvenated between his cabin in Gibson, British Columbia with his dog Ellie, and Nashville, Tennessee writing and recording new music set to be released later this year. In partnership with the CFL and TSN Thursday Night Football, Brownlee performed on the CFL Thursday Night Halftime Show in Vancouver when the BC Lions took on the Edmonton Eskimos in Vancouver.
