'Long Live Rock' Spells Continuation Of Transformation Of The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is rolling out the next phase of renovations to create a transformative and multidimensional experience for music fans and visitors from around the world.

Seven-foot-high block letters spelling out "LONG LIVE ROCK" were dedicated today on the 65,000-square-foot entry to the Rock Hall. The permanent public art installation is the first thing visitors encounter at the Hall of Fame entrance and provides a can't-miss photo opp to fans experiencing new programs and exhibits at the Museum.

The red metal letters are part of a continuing series of indoor and outdoor enhancements to the Rock Hall - all designed to create a high-energy welcome to visitors, showcase live music and leverage the Museum's prime lakefront location as a dynamic gathering place.

"Rock fans are passionate, and we are the epicenter of this passion," said Greg Harris, president and CEO. "We're the place where fans celebrate together, and these bold changes create a more impactful experience with our exhibits and programs."

Updates over the past year have already redefined the Museum and impacted the visitor experience. They include:

A bold new atrium reflecting the grit, edge and power of rock through big, bold artist images and colors that liven the space and embody the rock and roll attitude.

A completely redesigned museum store with new products that are emblematic of the rock and roll lifestyle.

Backstage Stories: A new permanent exhibit on the Museum's first floor, chronicling how live concerts are produced.

A redesigned outdoor experience that includes the massive "LONG LIVE ROCK" letters, a food truck and beer garden, new design elements and a seasonal stage that has already hosted local talent, rising stars, Inductees and other major artists.

The Rock Box public art project, featuring eight large speaker installations along Rock & Roll Blvd., stretching 1½ miles through downtown Cleveland. Iconic samples of rock anthems play on the hour from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and playlists are modified to celebrate special events and programs. As the "Long Live Rock" letters were unveiled, the speakers blasted the Who song by the same name.

By next summer, continuing renovations will include:
The new "All Access" Dining & Events, which will feature food service from Cleveland's rock star chefs, including Michael Symon, Jonathon Sawyer, Rocco Whalen and a rotation of other culinary partners. The Rock Hall worked with Aramark to develop the "All Access" brand, which will elevate the dining experience throughout the Museum, including the café, seasonal outdoor foodservice and catering for private events. The new café will open on the Rock Hall's main plaza level, giving guests a fresh new dining experience that doesn't require purchase of admission.

A new ticketing system to expedite the visitor entrance experience and allow for easy advance online ticket purchasing.

Ongoing enhancements on the plaza, including new sound and lighting as well as a greenspace gathering area (in addition to the seasonal stage and beer garden).

Longer-term renovations will include:
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Signature Experience, which will combine enhanced Inductee exhibits and a signature multimedia presentation production by Oscar-winning filmmaker Jonathan Demme.
Private events are still being booked and will continue during the transformation.
