New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Upstate NY's honorary ambassadors of acid-washed rock and roll are back with a new video for their song "Holy Rollin"! As we've come to expect from The Grape & The Grain this new video, which recently premiered via New Noise Magazine, speaks to the bands affinity for the infectious fusion of swampy blues and the booming sonics of 70's era classic rock. In essence, the song is an upbeat ode to self-discovery, friendship, and change. Listeners may find themselves hearing echoes of Steppenwolf and ZZ Top, or even more contemporary bands like Clutch and The Black Keys, but TG&TG are not simply pulling from the past. They are moving the genre forward and bending it to their defiant will. Bassist Mo Kelly offered up the following:

"If you ever fall from grace, just look inside and change". 'Holy Rollin' is a song for anyone in the world finding themselves in strange times. Sometimes the best thing to do is to look inside to make a change. "Thick and thin, lose or win, I got your back like a brother".

The music video was directed and edited by the bands drummer Steven Markota who says that the concept and style was inspired by the BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test sessions and Rockpalast videos from the 70's and 80's.

"We set up a green screen in our practice space and filmed everyone's individual performance a few times, loaded the files into the computer, and started poking around at ideas. I love all the Old Grey Whistle Test and the old Rockpalast videos and you always see some bootleg green screen effects. That was my inspiration for Holy Rollin'. No storyline, no gimmick, just rock and roll!"
- Steven Markota

"Holy Rollin" is the title track off the bands latest full-length album which was released to critical acclaim by Boneshaker Records in October of last year. Since the release of Holy Rollin, the band has been tirelessly performing throughout the tri-state area and amassing a regional following of dedicated fans.

Upcoming Shows:
Sat. Aug. 19 - BSP Kingston - Kingston, NY
Sat. Aug. 26 - Mazzstock Music Festival - Marlboro, NY
