New West Releases Two New Songs With "Homecoming" & "In My City" Bundle Out Today
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After building palpable buzz, Toronto based "collective" New West share a dynamic bundle entitled homecoming / in my city out now via Giant Music/Republic Records/Universal Music.
"These two new songs in our opinion are a perfect pair. They complete each other in a sense, especially lyrically. And though they do sound distinctly different, they complement each other in a way that creates a cohesiveness. Spring into summer in our hometown holds many fond memories for us and we just thought we'd set the soundtrack for the season," says the band on the bundle.

It boasts two brand new tracks "homecoming," "in my city" and their hit song "Those Eyes." Once again, the group further illustrates their dynamics, busting genre lines and delivering a pair of intriguing, yet irresistible anthems. Glassy vocals practically float above the piano on the wistful "homecoming," while "in my city" hinges on a soaring and sky-scraping hook meant to be chanted in arenas, "I feel at home in my city."
Yesterday they preceded the release with a powerful Sirius XM acoustic session, featuring all three songs and performing the two new tracks live for the first time.

The bundle includes their smash "Those Eyes." It has already reached nearly 450 million streams worldwide and recently the song was added to KROQ and WKQX Chicago. The music video, directed by Sean Brown, sees the band performing in Los Angeles in a cinematic version of their unparalleled live performances. Check out the official music video for "those eyes (Group Session)".

Adding to the excitement, the band are confirmed to make their late night television debut of "Those Eyes" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 26th. Check your local listings and be sure not to miss the incredible performance!

The bundle also arrives on the eve of their "In My City" Tour. The tour kicks off on April 24th at Los Angeles' Troubadour, making a stop at San Francisco's Rickshaw Stop on April 25th and concluding at New York's Bowery Ballroom on May 9th.

Four individuals. One vision. Endless possibilities. Meet New West. The Toronto-based "collective" comprises four individual artists, namely Kala Wita, Vella, Ben Key, and Noel West. For as different as they respectively may be in terms of where they're from, how they create, and why they're here, they fit together as seamlessly as long-lost puzzle pieces. They rotate between instruments and pass around the mic, morphing in real-time across each and every song with an unabashedly warm nostalgic undercurrent. Their very first release "Those Eyes" hinted at the potential of their chemistry. Its lush lo-fi acoustic guitar, dreamy piano, lullaby melody, and quotable play-by-play of a relationship in full bloom instantly reacted with listeners worldwide. It initially popped off on TikTok (the guys aren't quite sure where but it's all good), and the success slowly but surely translated to streaming platforms. Between the Original and "Sped Up" version, it clocked nearly 350 million Spotify streams. Tracing an invisible line all the way from the British Invasion to 21st century alternative R&B, they defy genre as they simultaneously define a singular style on their 2023 forthcoming full-length debut for Giant Music/Republic Records and much more to come.
