The Curtis Mayflower Release Brand New Single "King Of The Fools" With Music Video To Match

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Curtis Mayflower release their new single "King of the Fools". Recorded by Dave Westner at Machine With Magnets (Deer Tick, Battles, Joe Fletcher) in Pawtucket, RI, the single is the first release since the band's critically acclaimed debut "Everything Beautiful Is Under Attack". A nod to the great songwriters Donny Hathaway and Bill Withers, "King of the Fools" also displays an evolution in sound from the band. It will be available at www.thecurtismayflower.com and thru all major digital music outlets worldwide.

To accompany the single, the band has released a music video using odd and quirky 1950's instructional footage woven together with modern design elements. "King of the Fools" will be followed with more singles throughout 2014 and into early 2015. A physical release slated for Spring/Summer 2015 will contain said singles and backed by a live performance of the new material.



The band continues to tour in support of their debut album throughout the New England region and will perform at the Campfire Music Festival in Lakewood, PA over Labor Day weekend featuring artists Charles Bradley, Lake Street Dive, Delta Spirit and many more.
