Erwin Cuijpers started DJ'ing at a very young age, buying his own vinyl turntables and crappy mixer to learn the art of turntablism and DJ'ing. Starting as a hobby, Erwin soon began competing with more established DJs, winning contests, and obtaining festival spots. As demand grew, he sought to develop his skills and began producing as well.
Etienne Geurts started DJ'ing in 2007, but was drawn more to music production. In 2008, he obtained his first copy of Fruity Loops and registered with Laidback Luke's forum and developed his production quality and style through research and enthusiastic feedback from even
Laidback Luke himself.
Erwin and Etienne joined forces, admitting one is the better DJ and the other the better producer. Combine forces, so fans needn't worry about weaknesses is their slogan as Erwin Garcia.
