New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The self-taught singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist known as BAD CHILD premieres the tumultuous music video for his latest track, "Breathing Fire" today with COMPLEX, noting the up-and-comer's genre-fusing track about indulgence, pain, and pleasure. "Breathing Fire" was released last week via 21 Entertainment and Universal Music alongside Capitol Records stateside and Virgin Records in the UK.

On the track, BAD CHILD tells COMPLEX, ""Life is fleeting and I want to live it wild and unrestrained. 'Breathing Fire' is song about passion. When I produced this record, Jethro Tull, Sean Paul, and Nine Inch Nails were all parts of what inspired the sonic environment. Music is the only way I can explain what's in my heart."

"Breathing Fire" comes as the third song from the buzz-worthy new artist, following the self-titled debut "BAD CHILD" and the gut-wrenching second single "Payback". Spike Stent (Frank Ocean, Lady Gaga, Beyonce) mixed the songs with The Fader commenting on BAD CHILD's musical style, "the Jangly percussion of latter-day Tom Waits mixed with the tense pop compositions of alt-J."

Earlier this year, BAD CHILD's hybrid-alternative sound that borrows from rock, hip-hop and dance influences caught the attention of booking agents landing him a supporting slot for HOUSES throughout the U.S. He has also been announced as part of prestigious summer festival line ups such as Great Escape (UK), Ottawa Blues Fest (CA), Reading & Leeds Festival (UK) and most recently with more live dates to come.
