Elton John &
Fleetwood Mac for concert tickets sold worldwide as reported to POLLSTAR for shows played between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2004, landing in the No 16 spot with an impressive 541,890 tickets sold.
At 68 years old, Gaither has been a powerhouse in the gospel world for more than 30 years. And, this past year also landed the tour on Rolling Stone Magazine's 2004 "Rock's Rich List" as one of the top grossing tours worldwide.
Gaither remarked, "At this stage of my life, I'm just delighted to still be touring and included on a list with such great talent!"
Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band are keeping up the pace, bringing the Gaither Homecoming Concert, "CELEBRATION TOUR," across America once again in 2005--tickets for all dates are currently on sale. This critically acclaimed musical gathering, produced by Clear Channel Entertainment, is a live, in-the-round version of Gaither's double platinum-selling video series.
