Paisley announces today he will continue the TIME WELL WASTED tour into 2006. His tour mates will include Sara Evans and special guest Billy Currington.
Muti-platinum artist Sara Evans had the highest debuting album this year with the release of REAL FINE PLACE which entered the Billboard Country Album Chart at No 1 and the Billboard Top 200 at No 3. The title track and first single, 'A Real Fine Place To Start,' spent multiple weeks at No 1 on both the Billboard and R&R Charts. 'Cheatin'' the latest single is the fastest rising single of her career.
Mercury recording artist Billy Currington is touring in support of his sophomore album DOIN' SOMETHIN' RIGHT. In addition to his current hit single 'Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right,' audiences can expect to hear favorites from his 2003 self-titled debut such as 'I Got A Feelin',' as well as 'Party For Two,' his CMA and ACM nominated duet with Shania Twain. The release of DOIN' SOMETHIN' RIGHT marked Currington's highest sales week ever and landed him at No 2 on Billboard's Current Country Albums Chart.
Paisley just garnered four Grammy nominations for Country Album (TIME WELL WASTED), Country Male Vocal Performance ('Alcohol'), Country Song ('Alcohol') and Country Instrumental ('Time Warp'), making him the most nominated male country artist. He has sold over 6 million albums and his current, TIME WELL WASTED, debuted No 1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart by selling over 192,000 and also landed at No 2 on the Billboard Top 200.
