Disney Rolls Out Star-studded Hollywood Premiere For The Disney Channel Original Movie, 'Phineas And Ferb: Across The 2nd Dimension'
Burbank, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Disney Channel) Everybody loves "Phineas and Ferb," the global hit for kids and families, and now the animated comedy has reached another pinnacle with avid fans propelling it to a new TV movie inspired by the series, an entertainment attraction at Disney Parks and Resorts, a live touring stage show and consumer products in high demand. In celebration, Disney rolled out the red carpet (customized in Perry the Platypus teal' in honor of Phineas and Ferb's pet) for the Hollywood premiere of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension," Wednesday at the El Capitan Theatre. The movie makes its debut FRIDAY, AUGUST 5 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel, Saturday, August 13 on Disney XD (10:00 a.m., ET/PT) and Saturday, August 20 on the ABC Television Network (8:00 p.m., ET/PT). As Radio Disney originated its live broadcast from the site, fans lined Hollywood Boulevard for the colorful festivities featuring Phineas, Ferb and Agent P, along with a bevy of their celebrity friends. The guests of honor, Phineas and Ferb, arrived in style by way of a "Mobile Party Mobile," a vehicle custom built by the duo themselves for their Rockin' Rollin' Dance Party at Disney's California Adventure.

At the event, attendees toured "Perry the Platy-bus," a 4000 pound, 27-foot Airstream trailer complete with bill, tail and googly eyes, and played the exciting new Unity 3D video game, "The Movie Game: The Dimension of Doooom!," and a video game inspired by the movie, "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension" for the Wii system, Nintendo DS and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, released through Disney Interactive Studios.

Attendees from the movie included: Dan Povenmire (creator/executive producer & "Dr. Doofenshmirtz"), Swampy Marsh (creator/executive producer & "Major Monogram"), Ashley Tisdale ("Candace"), Vincent Martella ("Phineas"), Alyson Stoner ("Isabella"), Dee Bradley Baker ("Perry"), Mitchel Musso ("Jeremy") and Maulik Pancholy ("Baljeet").

Brandon Johnson (of Disney Channel's 'Shake it Up'), and China Anne McClain, Sierra McCormick, Jake Short, Stefanie Scott and Carlon Jeffery (of Disney Channel's 'A.N.T. Farm'), and Doug Brochu, Shayne Topp, Damien Haas and Matthew Scott Montgomery (of Disney Channel's 'So Random!'), and Ross Lynch, Laura Marano (of Disney Channel's 'Austin & Ally'), Cameron Boyce (of Disney Channel's 'Jessie'), Daniel Curtis Lee (of Disney XD's 'Zeke and Luther') and Madison Pettis (of Disney Junior's 'Jake and the Never Land Pirates').

"Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension" features a multi-platform roll-out, starting with Friday's premiere in the U.S., and shortly thereafter on Disney Channels Worldwide. The soundtrack, Phineas and Ferb: Across the 1st and 2nd Dimensions, is available through Walt Disney Records, and features the end credit track "Kick It Up A Notch," a collaboration with legendary guitarist Slash and Phineas and Ferb, as well as seven new songs showcased in the movie as well as music from the series.

In the animated Disney Channel Original Movie adventure based on the Emmy Award-winning comedy series "Phineas and Ferb," stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb go on their biggest journey yet, into another dimension! When the boys finally discover that their beloved pet platypus Perry is in fact a secret agent who battles the forces of evil daily, they join him on a grand adventure that blasts them to another dimension, where a truly evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz has taken over an alternate Tri-state Area. When they uncover his ploy to travel back to their dimension to take over their Tri-state Area, the gang, as well as their alter-egos, must band together to stop him.
