BURBANK, CA. (Walt Disney Records) - Due to popular demand, additional tickets have gone on sale for dates throughout Disney's "High School Musical: The Concert" tour! Tickets in select cities are available at Ticketmaster outlets and online via https://www.HighSchoolMusical.AEGLive.com. The hot-selling concert tour began November 29, 2006 in San Diego and runs through January 28, 2007, completing its 40+ concert date run in Las Vegas.

Recently awarded Best Soundtrack at the 2006 Billboard Awards, High School Musical is the No 1 top-selling album on Nielsen SoundScan's 2006 Year To Date Album Chart. The triple-platinum album claimed the No 1 spot on Billboard's Top 200 twice (first on March 1st and again March 22nd) and has spent 23 consecutive weeks in the top 10.

Performing the hit songs from High School Musical's triple-platinum- selling soundtrack are the multi-talented young stars: Corbin Bleu ("Chad"), Monique Coleman ("Taylor"), Lucas Grabeel ("Ryan"), Vanessa Hudgens ("Gabriella") and Ashley Tisdale ("Sharpay"). They are joined by the Emmy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Drew Seeley, who co-wrote the hit "Get'cha Head in the Game" and contributed male vocals to the High School Musical and The Cheetah Girls 2 soundtracks. Emmy Award-winning director and choreographer Kenny Ortega is serving as producer, director and choreographer for "High School Musical: The Concert" and has assembled a world-class production team for the concert tour.
