JLS Names Top 5 Boy Band Songs
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Muzu.tv)

JLS has revealed its most popular boy band songs, and the classical music inspiration behind its song writing in an exclusive interview on MUZU.TV.

Boyz II Men End of the Road

The interview is one of a series of interviews with JLS by MUZU.TV and preceded the recent release of the Band’s new album, Jukebox, and their latest single ‘Take A Chance On Me’.

Band member Marvin is a particular fan of Take That, and especially their single ‘Back for Good’ and believes it is “a song that will stand the test of time and will still be being played in 30 years.” He says his biggest influence was the ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson.

Meanwhile, inspiration behind much of the Band’s music comes in the form of classical music, states JB, with a particular influence from the ‘The Gladiator’ soundtrack, which he would listen to before gigs and on tour. The track is one of his favourite songs to listen to when writing songs, as “it has highs and lows and excitement in its music”.

Ciaran Bollard, CEO and co-founder of MUZU.TV said: ”Many of the most successful musicians take inspiration from a cross-section of music genres, whether it be from boy band pop or from classical genres. The interview highlights JLS’ musical influences, which are what give the band such breadth and depth in their song writing and performances. In short, they just have a natural understanding of what makes a good song.”

MUZU.TV, launched in 2008, has the largest collection of legally licensed online music videos in the world.
