NEW ROCHELLE, NY (Jagermeister
Music Tour/ www.JagermeisterMusicTour.com) - The Jagermeister
Music Tour explodes into its fifth year, and
Alter Bridge will detonate this hugely anticipated spring tour! The Tour kicks off on March 29th at New York's Irving Plaza.
Alter Bridge brings former Creed members Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall together with former Mayfield Four vocalist Myles Kennedy. Metal Edge Magazine says Kennedy joining the band was "one of the greatest things to happen to hard rock since David Lee Roth joined Van Halen."
"We're very excited and honored to be the headlining act on the Jagermeister Music Tour this spring," says Tremonti. "Jagermeister is known for bringing great rock shows to rock fans. With the tour's incredible history and the company's enthusiasm for live music, we're very happy to be partnered with Jagermeister to kick off the next leg of our US tour."
And the fans are excited for their return. Alter Bridge's debut album, One Day Remains, debuted its first week out of the box at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. It has already been certified Gold by the RIAA, and the first two songs from the album, "Open Your Eyes" and "Find the Real," have both been Top 10 smashes at rock radio.
Future Leaders of the World brings a defiant and emotive fury to the Tour. Their debut album, LVL IV (Epic), is a campaign against convention, and the Buffalo, NY group is drawing comparisons to Rage Against the Machine. Future Leaders of the World most recently toured with Chevelle and Helmet on this year's Sno-Core Tour.
Up-and-comer Submersed rounds out the bill. From Stephenville, TX, the band combines provocative lyrics with blistering guitars. Their hard-hitting debut, In Due Time (Wind-up), which was co-produced by Alter Bridge's Tremonti, features the single "Hollow," a hard rock gem with a catchy chorus. Hailed as one of last year's great debuts, Submersed toured with Alter Bridge in '04 and are ready to take on the Tour.
This is the sixth installment of the ever-growing, ever-successful Jagermeister Music Tour. Produced by Clear Channel Entertainment, past Tours have brought Slayer, Slipknot, Hatebreed, Saliva, hed P.E., Drowning Pool, and Ill Nino to the masses, and now the Tour continues its hard rock charge.
As usual, Jagermeister will provide an amazing lineup with plenty of extras at an incredible price. "We spend all year preparing for this, and each year gets bigger and better to the point that we are now able to secure incredible talent like Alter Bridge," says Lee Einsidler, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc., the importer of Jagermeister Liqueur. "Alter Bridge and Jagermeister are the perfect fit."
With tickets priced at about $30, ticket holders can expect plenty of bang for their bucks including great Jagermeister prizes and giveaways like the Jagermeister Compilation CDs with live and unreleased tracks from Jagermeister bands as well as plenty of Jagermeister shirts, hats, and more. Other prizes and giveaways from sponsors include custom tour prizes from Schecter Guitars, Peavey Electronics, and Coffin Case*.
