NEW YORK (Lava Records) - Multi-platinum rockers Simple Plan will hit the road beginning October 30 in Denver, Colorado on the first leg of the "Still Not Getting Any..." tour. The gents from Montreal will play shows in support of their sophomore album of the same name, which is set to hit stores October 26. Along for this wild ride will be sponsor Verizon Wireless.

Simple Plan have been hard at work with producer Bob Rock on the follow-up to their multi-platinum debut album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls." The quintet toured non-stop for nearly two years in support of their debut album with Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne and a headlining stint on the Van's Warped Tour. "No Pads, No Helmet...Just Balls" produced several Top 10 radio hits and No 1 MTV TRL videos. Known for consistently delivering an amazing in-your-face live show, Simple Plan plans to hit the road with a vengeance through 2005.

Drummer Chuck Comeau says the band is ready, "For the last 6 months, we've been working day and night on making the best new record possible. It's an amazing feeling to finally be done and get back on the road doing the one thing we love the most - playing shows. Plus having Mae and Plain White T's joining us will make for an awesome night. Verizon [Wireless] cares about supporting young new bands like us and we are thrilled they are with us for this tour."

Simple Plan joins Verizon Wireless' "Music Unleashed Concert Series," which is designed to further enhance the fan experience before, during, and after the band's notorious high-energy concerts. For the first time, live audio ringtones called "trutones" will be produced from audio recorded at select Simple Plan concerts and will be available through Verizon Wireless, in addition to a suite of other one-of-a-kind ringtones and voicetones.

The powerhouse wireless network will produce high school text-to-win contests and trivia games, on-site entertainment elements, and website promotions giving fans a direct connect to band members. After each show, fans can check out www.SimplePlanConcerts.com for exclusive concert pictures, band updates, and downloads. The website will also feature a contest whereby fans have the chance to "mash" the new Simple Plan single "Welcome To My Life." The fan with the most creative "mash," chosen by the band, will win a grand prize of $2,500, a trip to Los Angeles to attend the concert at the El Rey and meet the band. Also, their winning mash will be converted to a download available online. In addition, the grand prize mash winner will also win a part in the next Simple Plan music video shooting sometime in 2005.

Simple Plan is Pierre Bouvier (vocals), Chuck Comeau (drums), David Desrosiers (bass, backing vocals), Sebastien Lefebvre (guitar, backing vocals) and Jeff Stinco (lead guitar). The band's debut album "No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls," was released on Lava Records in 2002 and sold over 3 million albums worldwide, spawning several Top 10 hits including "I'd Do Anything," "Addicted" and "Perfect."
