IlseV has successfully made the crossover from the orchestra to the dance floor. Ilseviolin is about to launch her latest contribution to the genre with her upcoming album release ClubDeluxe.
IlseV is no stranger to the club scene and absolutely not a newcomer to the joy of strings on the dance floor. IlseV was classically trained since childhood, working around the world in orchestras and symphonies since the age of 12. IlseV has managed to combine her two ultimate passions in life; Violin is her first love, but a close second is to dance. A party girl since she can remember, IlseV finally figured out that when she jumped up, plugged in her violin and let loose at a party or after party….the party kept going. It seemed an easy equation and IlseV did the math. Small parties and clubs led quickly to massive rave parties and being flown across the globe doing what she loved.
Smashing the traditional violinist stereotype is all in a days work for IlseV. Her wild blonde hair, ridiculously long legs, cheeky smile, and white electric violin lit up like an electric acid trip, all contribute to shake up the stereotype. She knows that ultimately all electronic music lacks the raw element that only live music can provide. That's her job. Standing on stage, she steals the show, taking the dance track to new heights and keeping the punters mesmerised while she's at it.
IlseV has always focused on live performances, working the club circuit in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and LA. Encouraged by world famous house music DJ and producer Carl Cox, this time she is laying down some tracks in the studio, all to be released on her album ClubDeluxe. Her goal is to keep it personal, only collaborating with DJs and producers who have personally influenced her career. In the works are already names like Tydi, Lange, Alex Morph, Binery Finary… Taking her time and enjoying every moment, keep your ears tuned for this one!
