New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Up and coming hiphop artist Darren Jackson just released the music video for his debut single "MIDWESTSIDE" ft. Chris Grindz - Song produced by the 2013 Grammy Award Winning J.R. - Video directed by Chrissi Jackson.

"MIDWESTSIDE" tells the stories of many in the Midwest, from the inner-city to the suburbs to the countryside. The house party themed video spotlights the diverse nature of the Midwest and how many people are able to come together for a good time despite differences. Although the video was shot prior to the tragic death of Mike Brown in Ferguson, its timely release contrasts a brighter side of the city of St. Louis while acknowledging its challenges.
