From her second studio album, Irresistible

A Texas native, Jessica Simpson began her career in gospel music and in her teenage years, signed to Columbia Records. She released her first album at the peak of the teen pop era during the late '90's. She was marketed as a contrast to Britney Spears due to her more innocent image and powerful singing voice. Simpson went on to release three more pop albums, two Christmas albums and a country album as well as run a successful business.
After the low performance of Sweet Kisses, Simpson came back on the scene with a sexier image on Irresistible. The album peaked at #6 in the US and two singles were released.
Released as the lead single from the album, Irresistible peaked at #11 in the UK and #15 in the US.
