This song is one of the most simple that Pearl Jam has ever done. The very stripped down recording was also a big change for them. Despite all of that, "Last Kiss" is their highest charting single of their career. The tuning used will be standard tuning. This lesson is great for players of all levels, even complete beginners. It contains only basic open position chords and simple strumming patterns. In fact, "Last Kiss" uses the same guitar chord progression for the entire song.
