Dit is mijn poging tot een engelstalige versie van Je Vecht Nooit Alleen van de 3js. Ik heb geprobeerd zo dicht mogelijk bij de boodschap van de originele versie te blijven waarbij de originele melodielijn helemaal gehandhaafd blijft. Het was geen makkelijke klus... Het lastigst vond ik het vinden van een vervangende regel voor "Dat een mens krijgt wat hij geeft" in het hoge deel van het refrein. Mijn suggestie voor de Engelse titel is "You never fight alone"; hoewel deze zin niet in het liedje zelf te vinden is vind ik dat toch het beste passen, ook omdat al veel songfestivalliefhebbers dit liedje al kennen onder naam Je vecht nooit alleen. Als je kritiek hebt, geef dan a.u.b. ook een alternatief, ik zou dat erg appreciëren (misschien dat Jan Dulles dat ook leest, ik weet dat hij youtube wel eens bekijkt).
