ST. ALEXANDRA (known as ST.Priscilla) of ROME - Feast Day April 21, 23
ST. ALEXANDRA (known as ST.Priscilla) of ROME - Feast Day April 21, 23
She was the wife of Roman Emperor Diocletian, who was responsible for the martyrdom and deaths of millions of Christians around 300 AD.
St. Alexandra was secretly a Christian but openly professed her Faith in JESUS CHRISGT when she ran into the arena where St. George, the Great-martyr and Miracle-Worker, was being tortured. Because of the numerous miracles being evidenced each time St. George was undergoing a 'new torture' thousands of Pagans became Christians with each new 'Miracle" JESUS CHRIST was granting.
St. Alexandra, also kn own as St. Priscilla or St. Prisca, was ordered by her own husband, the Emperor, to be executed by beheading. On her way to her execution, she prayed and as she stoped by a tree to rest a second, she gave up her spirit and soul to The Lord JESUS CHRIST, 2 days before the execution of St. George by Beheading.
She died April 21, 303 AD and St. George died a Martyr Saint on April 23, 303 AD.
may their intercessions and their protection always be with us, our families, and our countries. AMEN.
