FFXIV Relic Quest - Operation: Tailspin (Curtana Faction Leve)

This is the Faction Leve you must complete as part of the Relic quest. Each weapon has a different leve, this is the one for Curtana. The leves cost 100 Faction Points, and only 4 people may participate, though you can have others in another zone for the Full Party buff. First of all, sorry for the start of the video. I seem to have somehow lost the start of the leve, but there wasn't any fighting or anything so the whole battle is here. This is another pretty simple one. The fight begins with one Amaalja. This guy is pretty easy. Just burn him down until a Drake pops. When it does, the MNKs need to break off from the main NM and deal with it. Taunt is useful, because it will often beeline for the WHM. Once the first Amaalja is dead, the real enemy emerges. This guy is a lot tougher, and he hits really hard. On top of this, he can buff himself as well. The tank should smartly stagger their JAs and spells to stay alive while the WHM spam cures them. Meanwhile, the MNKs DD, but they should also pay attention to if the Amaalja has any buffs up. If he does, quickly use a Demolish combo to eliminate them, especially Haste. If Pounce/Demolish is down, Aura Pulse's slow will overwrite the mob's Haste, but be careful as Aura Pulse will only stick a few times before he builds resistance. Additionally, Drakes will continue to pop every minute. The MNKs will have to deal with these as well. Try not to have the Drake's front or back facing the tank for long, as their AoE plus a well timed hit from the Amaalja can kill the tank. At around 30%, the Amaalja will use a defense debuff. This is where the tank should use Hallowed Ground. The MNKs can also hit Hundred Fists to finish off the mob quickly when it gets low. Thanks for watching!
