David Gilmour rotary sounds - with pedals!

In this video I'm showing how you can use typical Gilmour pedals to simulate his rotary sounds. David Gilmour has used several rotating speaker cabinets over the years, including a Yamaha RA200 during the Animals/Wall era in the late 70s and early 80s. David Gilmour would always mix his rotary cabinets lower than the dry Hiwatt amps to create a subtle modulated tone. I'm using a MXR Custom Shop '74 reissue Phase 90 and a Mooer ElecLady to simulate that liquidy warble heard on the Is There Anybody Out There - The Wall live 1980-81 album release. -------------------------- Signal chain: Guitar - Fender Stratocaster, with D Allen Voodoo 69 neck and middle pickups and Seymour Duncan SSL5 bridge pickup Amp - Reeves Custom 50, Laney LT212 cabinet with Celestion V30 speakers Mic - Sennheiser e906 Follow Gilmourish.Com here: http://www.gilmourish.com https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gilmou... http://www.bjornriis.com
