HOW DO I VISIT MY CHILDREN AT THE CLARK COUNTY JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER? Only parents and legal guardians are allowed to visit children at the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center in Las Vegas. Friends and other relatives may not visit. Parents or legal guardians may not visit their child until after the first court hearing. This visit must take place that day between 10 am and 11 am, immediately following court. Afterwards, parents and legal guardians are permitted one weekly visit. Children assigned to Units E1, E2 or E6 can get visits on Saturdays from 9:30 am to 11 am. Children assigned to Units E3, E4 and E5 may get visits on Sundays from 9:30 am to 11 am.
