Nataly’s Corner features smooth & contemporary jazz artist and saxophonist Phil Denny with music from his NEW album titled “ALIGN”. Forget that it’s been almost 3 years since Phil Denny released an album because ALIGN is definitely worth the wait…and apparently I’m not the only jazz music listener who believes this. Look at today’s smooth jazz charts and you’ll find that the first single “Switch Up” is #10 on the SJ Billboard Chart [for June 23, 2018] and the album, itself, is at #20 on the smoothjazz.com Top 50 Chart [as of June 11, 2018]. I consider ALIGN to be the “best of Phil Denny”. It’s fully packed with enough jazzy grooves to keep you content until Phil’s next release! In addition to the track “Got it Like That”, jazz music listeners will be pampered with sassy sax vibes in “Solux”, featuring jazz guitarist Adam Hawley on the track; and “Tryst”, which is my favorite track. There’s the rhythmic beat grooves of “Ride with Me”; “Kinda Wanna”; and “Feel Alright”, featuring jazz guitarist David P. Stevens on the track. And if you feel like you wanna get up and dance, check out “Brio Bounce”. Phil Denny has been performing professionally for a relatively short period of time. But you would never know this because his music compilations demonstrates the work of a very talented and seasoned saxophonist…and he’s got the smoothjazz chart positions to back that up.
