2Special release their debut on our Avanti imprint, entitled "Balalaika".
Every now and then every DJ needs a good party slammer for his audience. If the mood is right and especially when you're playing a great live set, you can really turn the night into an unforgettable one by playing a high energy and super positive floor filler. "Balalaika" fits the description. As the title suggests, there is of course an undeniable Russian influence in the track and for those of you who didn't know: a real Balalaika is a traditional, three stringed instrument of Russian origin, with a characteristic triangular body. Now, 2Special used the energetic sounds of the instrument to create this hit, following many of the known house cuts of the last two year that all feature either traditional anthems or instruments.
The production is crisp, clubby and super danceable, not to mention of course the "Balalaika" break, 'cause that when the party begins! Check it out and take it with you wherever you go!
