how to make kambu kooz /கமà¯à®ªà®™à¯à®•à¯‚ழ௠செயà¯à®µà®¤à¯ எபà¯à®ªà®Ÿà®¿/ Pearl Millet Porridge / Summer drink recipes
Method
Pearl Millet (Kambu) – 1 cup
Water – 4 cups
Cooked rice – 1 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Note: If you have whole pearl millet ,then soak it and leave it for one hour then grind it in a mixer to make it coarse…just 2-3 pulse is enough
1. Rinse the pearl millet well and transfer to pressure cooker and add water and pressure cook in low medium flame for 5-6 whistles.
2. Once pressure releases, place the kambu in a bowl ,add curd, cooked rice, onion, curry leaves, coriander leave and ,required salt and give a quick stir.
3. Serve with raw onion or vadams or pickle of your choice.
