Salman Khan doesn’t deserve to be supported, says singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya

Abhijeet Bhattacharya one of the most popular and controversial singers of Bollywood in a Dialogue @ Nation Next told us why he felt he was wrong in supporting Salman Khan during his hit and run case. He spoke at length about Pakistani artists who come to India and even showed his outrage for not giving due respect to Indian singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Amir Khan, Begum Akhtar, Pt Bhimsen Joshi, etc. He also expressed his displeasure over filmmaker Karan Johar for ‘preferring’ Pakistani singers over him and shared with us why Yashraj Films banned him despite giving huge hits like Ole ole, Zara sa jhoom lu, etc. Coming down heavily on the three Khans – Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir – Abhijeet regretted his decision of supporting Salman Khan and said that the latter was drunk during the hit and run case. Abhijeet, without mincing words, took a dig at Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan for not giving him a prominent mention in the credits of the movies Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na. Abhijeet, who said that he lost all respect for singer Arijit Singh as the latter chose to seek an apology from Salman for no mistake of his, also criticised Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut by accusing her of playing safe by targeting Hrithik Roshan over Khans. Here are the excerpts of the interview with Abhijeet Bhattacharya… Producer: Vikrant Shandilya Anchor: Radhika Dhawad Photojournalist: Thakur Raship Singh Video Editor: Himanshu Pal Click here for more stories and updates from Nation Next: https://www.nationnext.in Like Nation Next on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nationnext/ Follow Nation Next on twitter: https://twitter.com/nationnextlive Follow Nation Next on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nationnext/ Digitally Powered by One Digital Entertainment [https://www.facebook.com/OneDigitalEntertainment] [Website - http://www.onedigitalentertainment.com]
