The Sullivan Brothers Tribute

Filmed at the Irish American Hall of Fame Ceremony, the 5 Sullivan Brothers were honored and paid tribute for their service during World War II. All 5 Sullivan Brothers were declared Missing in Action after their ship the USS Juneau was torpedoed by a Japanese Submarine in November of 1942. During the presentation, Clips from "The Fighting Sullivans" were shown and the Hall of Fame Award was accepted by Al granddaughter, Kelly Ann Sullivan Loughren. At the end, the US Navy presented a landing ceremony to all 5 of the Sullivan Brothers. George Thomas Sullivan, 27 (born December 14, 1914), Gunner's Mate Second Class (George had been previously discharged in May 1941 as Gunner's Mate Third Class.)
