From the early develpment of language, stories have affected the way we live our lives. With the advent of the printing press, knowledge and written entertainment spread quickly. Living vicariously became a danger with the advent of Film and TV and now many are advocating living a virtual life on the internet. However, we are not virtual beings, we are human beings. We need to live our real lives and develop real relationships if our life is to be meaningful.
