Restless Heart & Friends Unite For Benefit Concert To Fight Hunger In Middle Tennessee
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Legendary country music group Restless Heart will take the stage with friends Charlie McCoy and Michael Lington on September 22, 2015 at the historic Franklin Theatre for a very special cause. The evening of music with Restless Heart & Friends will shine a spotlight on the issue of hunger in Middle Tennessee while raising funds for One Generation Away - a non-profit organization dedicated to the idea that we are just one generation away from eliminating racism, denominationalism and poverty in America. All we have to do is act.

"One in four children and one in six of the general population, often the elderly, are going hungry, and it's in our power to do something," stated founder Chris Whitney. "There's no doubt we can all make a huge difference to families in need. For every dollar donated, we can purchase $16 of retail food. In addition, the artists are generously donating their time and talent, and Jay Ellis of HALO Heating and Cooling graciously donated the evening at The Franklin Theatre. These blessings show we're on the right track."

Restless Heart's Dave Innis and his wife Adrienne offered their full support after hearing about the organization through their church. "Restless Heart is humbled to be a part of promoting such an amazing organization as One Generation Away." said Innis. "Lending our time and talents seems like a small thing in comparison to the hard working volunteers who are providing groceries to families in need. We are on board to help OneGen get the word out about who they are and what they are doing, so that they can expand their mission throughout the state and beyond: Wiping hunger off the face of America."

The event will also include a VIP Meet & Greet from 6:30 - 7:30 pm for event sponsors featuring the exciting new group No Signal, plus a Silent Auction featuring one-of-a-kind memorabilia and experiences. All proceeds go to support One Generation Away and Tennessee families. Tickets on sale to the public Saturday, July 25th at the historic Franklin Theatre. Doors open at 7:30 pm, showtime at 8 pm.
