NEW YORK (www.thaddeushogarth.com) - "It's hard not to believe in Hogarth" - Billboard Magazine
The new long-awaited live release from Thaddeus Hogarth and his band is here! Recorded on location at the Bose Corporation Performance Theatre in Framingham, Massachusetts, this CD finally captures the live energy of the group. The recording was made possible with the Bose Personal Amplification System (tm) a revolutionary system created by Bose to enhance live performance while eliminating many of the traditional problems associated with live recordings. This release contains 6 new original tunes and 4 favorites!

Thaddeus Hogarth is an amazing musician who excels on guitar, keyboards, harmonica and vocals. Born in England and raised in St. Kitts, West Indies, Thaddeus is based out of Boston. He is also on the guitar faculty at Boston's famed Berklee College of Music. His CD, "Trying To Believe" earned Thaddeus and his Band the Best R&B/Blues category of the Independent Music Awards. Hogarth's influences range from the 70s soulful styles of Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder and Sly Stone to the hypnotic grooves and sociopolitcal commentary of the early reggae movement in the West Indies.

Thaddeus' former notable contribution to the Boston music scene was as the principal Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist for the Heavy Metal Horns. The Heavy Metal Horns gained recognition in Boston in the 90's through their original heavy hitting funk rock grooves, outstanding personal presence, and full brass sound. Numerous awards include Best New Band 1990 (Boston Magazine), Outstanding Club Act (Boston Music Awards 1992). Through multiple national tours of the U.S.,(including Boston, Montreal and Newport Jazz Festivals) and international distribution of 2 CDs, ("Heavy Metal Horns" - Square Records, "Horns In The House" - Polystar/Danger), Thaddeus' songwriting, vocals, guitar and harmonica playing have been heard worldwide. On his previous CD "It Might As Well Be Now", he collaborated with Reggae Legend and Grammy nominee Sister Carol.
