New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Tally Koren Official Website) '72 Names' (Hallelujah) has been chosen as the second single from Tally Koren's album of the same title. It follows the success of first single 'Beauty Of The Duty' which was played by Chris Evans, Graham Norton, Janice Long and Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2 and play-listed on 40 other UK based radio stations. The single will be released on 4th September 2011. A new 'radio edit' version has been recorded and features London-based gospel choir Vocally Sound. The single has been produced by Phil Curran and mixed by Guy Katsav-Jukey whose credits include The View's chart-topping album 'Hat's Off To The Buskers', as well as Moby, Groove Amanda, Laura Marling and many more. To build anticipation for the release of 72 Names (Hallelujah) Tally is undertaking a 72-day project focusing on the significance of the number 72 in all facets of everyday life, modern and historical, artistic and spiritual. Using her blog and social media channels the project will involve people and ideas from all walks of life, using interviews, video and fan-engagement to promote the launch of the single. Examples of the use of 72 in day-to-day life include: 72 appearing in the background of the Mona Lisa, 72 teams in the football league; 72 Names of God; a coast-to-coast cycle route along Hadrian's Wall called Route 72; and even a Rule of 72 to estimate compound interest. The list goes on and on. The 72-day project will start on 19/7/11 with Tally posting the first video on YouTube on what to expect over the 72 days. "I'm so excited to be doing something so engaging for the launch of the new single", said Tally Koren. "Normally promotion is left to a specialised team and I go where, and do what I'm told. But this time around all the promotion will be generated by me and the fans together - it should be great fun".
