NEW YORK (www.thewebnewsroom.com) - The Web Newsroom.com - in an update just before the CD Debut on October 5, entitled "My Evolution", TheWebNewsroom learned from former Sony Director, Larry Stessel of Trillium Entertainment that industry 'add' reports had picked up the hit single "HARDCORE" for national play in markets ranging from Griz's hometown in New York City to Seattle, Portland, Hawaii, and Orlando.

"It's unbelievable," said Grace Morley the Independent Label Producer at Ragin Grace Records - https://www.RaginGrace.com, "Griz is a great artist, he has worked so hard writing his music and we can't wait to share this sound with the world." Also, the video for the hit single 'Hardcore' filmed by award winning director 'Vem', is nearly ready for release. Look for the video on your favorite music video station.

Meet the Man, This is 'Griz' - "The GrizRock Movement & The Man Behind the Music"

It's tough to imagine such a tough guy actually breaking down in tears, but inside this mountain of a man was the heart of a hero dying to come out. "My Evolution" takes you on that same emotional and spiritual rollercoaster that this New York City native rode, with a message telling you not to give up.

J. R. ~ "Griz, for people who may be new to the whole GrizRock Genre, how would you describe it to them?"

Griz ~ "The GrizRock movement is the future, it's for everybody. A lot of people feel the same way but don't want to say it. Its revolutionary music and I speak for the people when I say it's about the emotion that people go through, I'm their voice because I've been there. GrizRock is for they guy who gets fired from his job and leaves and puts my CD in and listens to the words and just bangs his head, and says screw that guy I'm not givin' up! It's here to stay. Or if they are listening to the track Backbone' and they hear that a woman is a man's salvation and with the right woman a man can do anything. You know, if a guy has a lady or is married, he hears that it's not cool to cheat on her or beat her. They hear that its not cool to hit your girl, 'And don't ever hit your girl in front of me cause I'll break your face". I don't like when men hit women. Too many people take advantage of things nowadays, they don't appreciate women and they give up too easily on the other crap in life. You have to listen to my CD to understand who I am and what GrizRock is. If you understand who I am, you understand the genre and why it's real hard, it's full of adrenaline it's a pumpin' CD! It's something that as people listen to it, it brings them through a whole lot of different emotions."

J. R. ~ "Griz, who were some of your musical influences throughout the years?"

Griz ~ "Ok, my musical influences? First and foremost, I love Rick Rubin! You and I talked about that the other day, about that article you wrote when you mentioned my name in a sentence with him, and I was almost at a loss of words. Rick Rubin to me is an incredible man the guy is the father of Hip Hop you what I mean. He did the whole thing with Russell Simmons and the Def Jam movement, and made that into a multimillion dollar company. And when he was tired of it, he went over to rock and did System of a Down, Rick Rubin is the original 'GrizRock' movement. As far as im concerned, 'Rick Rubin for President!' screw Bush and Kerry."
