Amy Grant's Greatest Hits 1986-2004 scans over 22,000 copies in first week

LOS ANGELES (www.amygrant.com) - The newest project from best-selling and multiple GRAMMY Award-winning artist Amy Grant, Greatest Hits 1986-2004, scanned over 22,000 copies during its first week of release. The project made its Billboard "Top 200" debut at No 48 and entered the overall Christian retail SoundScan chart at No 3. The project has enjoyed wide national exposure via major media appearances including "The Tonight Show" and "The View."

Greatest Hits 1986-2004 encompasses 17 of Grant's digitally re-mastered pop hits including "Baby Baby," "The Next Time I Fall" and "Every Heartbeat," along with two new recordings, "Come Be With Me" and "The Water," which was produced by Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Bebo Norman) and co-written by Grant and features her husband, Vince Gill, on electric guitar. "The Water" is the first Christian radio single from the project and is rapidly climbing the AC radio charts.
