NEW YORK (Top40 Charts Staff Writters Team) - Top40 Charts brings exclusively to you another 'Chart' story, a genuine success in music industry! We searched and found all the artists who have the highest number of No 1 Singles on Billboard Singles Top 100 ONLY IN ONE YEAR. (The period for time for this unique list is calculated as 01/01 - 31/12, for every year after 1955).

The reference point for this article is the Chart success by USHER - especially with his last fourth No 1 single 'My Boo' (feat. Alicia Keys): internationally, Usher has conquered virtually every major market, as Confessions (Special Edition) rises from No 10 to No 3 in Canada (where it is 4-times platinum); from No 32 to No 10 in England (where it is 3-times platinum); and from No 32 to No 23 in Holland (where it is gold).
The album is powered by no less than four smash hit singles, including the three consecutive No 1 Pop/ No 1 R&B hits "Yeah!" (featuring Lil' Jon & Ludacris), "Burn" and "Confessions Part II," along with the newest "My Boo" by Usher with J Records artist Alicia Keys. The No 1 Pop/ No 1 R&B "My Boo" is one of four previously unissued bonus tracks included on this reconfiguration of the 5-times platinum album, which to date, has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

So, from the beginning of 2004, Usher has 4 No 1 singles at The Top of Billboard Singles 2004. If you believe that this is something that happens every week or every year, then you have to look for 1970 to find the most recent analogy!

34 years after Jacksons 5, USHER is being a part of the unique list which includes not just some 'hits' but the BRIGHTEST SUPERSTARS OF MUSIC. Only Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Jacksons 5 had 4 No 1 singles in a year. Usher is the first artist of this Century who enters this unique list and presents us a REAL SUCCESS - according to CHARTS terms.

George Michael with the album 'Faith' had 4 No1 Singles at Billboard USA Singles Chart, but NOT in ONE year (you'll find his songs following).
