NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Roots rockers, Sister Hazel, are inviting fans across the nation to take part in their contest to win a weekend on the road with the band for the 'Ultimate Road Trip.' The road-trip weekend will include transportation on a top-of-the-line tour bus, star treatment, and some of the less glamorous perks such as unloading gear and setting up for a show with the band. The winners will be guests of the band for an entire weekend.

Fans can participate by entering the band's Street Team at www.sisterhazel.com. It is free to join and completing the Hazelnut tasks are anything but dull! 'Members of the Street Team (Hazelnuts) can earn points by completing assignments such as creating banners for our shows, distributing flyers, or bringing new friends to the shows,' lead singer Ken Block explained. 'The Hazelnuts with the most points by the end of the year will win a weekend on the road with all of us!'

The Ultimate Road Trip will continue through December 2004 with new initiatives announced this week. For those who participate, there will be several trip options for the winners and members who support the community. To date, there are nearly 5,000 street team members, with membership increasing daily.

Sister Hazel, who has been together for more than 8 years, initially received national acclaim with their independent album Somewhere More Familiar. Selling over 30,000 copies independently the group caught the attention of Universal Records. Universal signed Sister Hazel and re-released the album - which became the label's first platinum rock album.
The group's lead single, 'All For You,' went to No. 1 charting in four different formats and served as an impressive introduction to a variety of music lovers. The single, 'Happy,' was also enjoyed chart success.
The band continues to tour nationwide, averaging over 100 dates a year.

Lift, the latest album from Sister Hazel, is available where fine music is sold. For additional information, or to join the Sister Hazel street team community, please visit www.sisterhazel.com.
