WHO: Legendary techno music artists Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson will receive the International Achievement Award, sponsored by General Motors Corporation, from ArtServe Michigan in recognition of their international contribution to music.

WHAT: ArtServe Michigan Governors' Award for Arts & Culture dinner and awards ceremony. The International Achievement Award is presented to a Michiganian who has achieved International prominence in the arts. The 19th Annual Governor's Awards for Arts & Culture is sponsored by ArtServe Michigan and serves as its primary fundraiser.

TIME: Governor's Reception begins at 6:00 p.m.
Awards Ceremony begins at 8:00 p.m.

Arts in Education Award - Dr. C. Robert Maxfield, has provided the education community in Farmington Public Schools with extraordinary leadership and support
Cultural Organization Awards - Blissfest Music Organization in Petoskey, City of Marquette Arts and Culture Dept., in Marquette, and the Grand Rapids Ballet Company in Grand Rapids
Business Honor Roll - LaFontsee Galleries and Underground Studio, Grand Rapids
