SEATTLE, WA. (Loudeye/ www.loudeye.com) - Loudeye Corp. a worldwide leader in business-to-business digital media solutions, today announced the entry of its digital media services into the enlarged European Union through the launch of Mobitel's Zabavaj.se music store in Slovenia. Mobitel is a leading mobile operator in Slovenia. The music store marks the 19th country in which Loudeye provides digital media services.

Loudeye's OD2 services built a complete, custom-branded store for the launch of Zabavaj.se. The site utilizes Microsoft's Windows Media Audio format and digital rights management (DRM) to ensure high sound quality and security. Mobitel's Zabavaj.se music store was designed to be a user-friendly storefront with quick access to new releases, extensive music samples, clear guidelines on the usage of downloaded music and an intuitive "Dr. Download" help section, among other features.

"We are very excited about the launch of Zabavaj.se amid a growing consumer interest across Slovenia for access to high quality, legal downloads," said Tomi Sefman, head of Mobitel's subsidiary Planet 9. "OD2 was an indispensable asset in helping us launch this store with a compelling interface and content catalog that we believe creates an attractive offer to music fans in Slovenia and also strengthens Mobitel's position as one of the technologically most advanced operators in region."

"Mobitel's music store launch signals further geographic extension of our services as we power our first store in Slovenia," said Charles Grimsdale, president and general manager of Loudeye's international business operations. "By providing turnkey, privately-branded digital music stores we can help a range of companies, including portals and other Websites with high volumes of traffic, differentiate themselves in the market and enhance their branding through digital media service offerings."
