Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter/actor and director, Dwight Yoakam is the creative force behind the ever-expanding line of Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits brand food products.
"I originally had some biscuits made up for some friends of mine in Bakersfield, and they liked 'em so much, we had to keep on makin' 'em, which led to even more items like Chicken Lickin's and Buffalo Bites!" says Yoakam.
Kroger now offers four items from the line: three flavors of Chicken Lickin's brand Chicken Fries: Original Recipe, Sweet Barbecue and Chili Cheese; and Chicken Lickin's brand Buffalo-style bites.
All four products are now available in the frozen snack food aisle, just down from the frozen pizza, in all participating Kroger Divisions.
Modern Foods continues to gain market share with the Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Biscuits Brand line of frozen food items.

Chicken Fries are made from all-white meat chicken breast patties with rib meat, breaded, and shaped like French fries. They come in Original Recipe, Sweet Barbecue and Chili Cheese flavors. Buffalo-Style Bites are also made from all-white meat chicken breast patties with rib meat and breaded, but the breading has a Buffalo-style flavor and they are shaped like drummies and wings. Buffalo-Style Bites are flavorful, but still mild enough for the whole family to enjoy. Both chicken products are boneless and fully-cooked.
All four products:
