NEW YORK (www.unwrittenlaw.com) - In case you didn't know, rock n' roll is back and better than ever. Taking a cue from Green Day, U2 and Velvet Revolver, Unwritten Law entered the studio and came up with one heck of a pure rock n' roll record. The album, entitled Here's To The Mourning, is filled with tales of debauchery, abuse, breakups and more, while featuring the bona-fide hit single "Save Me."

The introspective, lead off track was co-penned by Unwritten Law and tunesmith Linda Perry and is already off to an astounding start. The song, which officially impacts Alternative radio on December 7th, was embraced by the format early, garnering #2 most added honors two weeks running. Tastemaker station KROQ in Los Angeles led the charge by adding the song four weeks ahead of schedule. Other major stations following suit include heavyweights KTBZ (Houston), WBCN (Boston), CIMX (Detroit) and KWOD (Sacramento).

With one week till the official impact date, Unwritten Law's single is reaching an audience of close to 2 million and climbing, entering the chart at No 48. In addition to the outstanding radio stats, Unwritten Law kicked off an intimate, low-dough tour on November 30th which will continue on through mid-December.

Here's To The Mourning is Unwritten Law's official follow up to the bands breakthrough album Elva, which spawned the No 1 Modern Rock Track "Seein' Red." The album sold upwards of 400,000 albums and caught the attention of the producers from the acclaimed MTV series Music In High Places.
Unwritten Law appeared on the show, whose audio tracks were later released as an acoustic album on Lava Records. The critically acclaimed disc, From Music In High Places was released in early 2003. For more information, go to www.unwrittenlaw.com
